Converting notes with shapes and drawings

By default, this dialog box opens. We recommend that you deactivate it in the Global conversion settings dialog box, as Livescribe documents are generally sent to MyScript as single pages only:

The result will include any shapes or drawings in the notes: you can change a shape's type if you wish

How to draw shapes for best results

  NOT LIKE THIS LIKE THIS
Make the lines of the shapes as even as possible: avoid "shaky" lines
When you draw closed shapes, make sure that the ends meet as much as possible
You can draw open polygons, but they can only contain four lines

How to draw lines and arrows for best results

  NOT LIKE THIS LIKE THIS
Make straight lines as straight as possible; avoid adding hooks or curves
Single-curve lines can be redrawn but lines with multiple curves will not be converted as shapes
Many types of arrows can be converted as shapes, but not every type
Take care with the size of the arrow head - it must not be too large in relation to the line length

You should finish one shape before drawing another.

The fewer lines you use when drawing shapes, the more accurate the shape conversion will be.
