Using special content areas

A special content area is a portion of the document that you define, in which you can specify a different conversion mode and/or a different language, or exclude some content from the conversion process.

A special content area is not a selection: the changes you have made in that area will take effect the next time you convert that document. When you save the document, its special content areas are also saved.

You can exclude content from conversion by creating a special content area and deactivating all the content types.
