Movies Diff Help

Intro

This operation calculates the difference between two movies and projects it on a medium grey background.
If you check "edge" the difference is taken between a movie and a shifted copy of the movie.
You can create nice movies by differencing slightly different movies. For example, record traffic in a street twice using the same fixed camera position. If the camera position is changed slightly you also see the contours of the buildings.

Autoscale

Checking this box keeps makes sure each frame displays a pronounced effect. The scale factors may vary from frame to frame.

Scale manually

This is for a technical evaluation of movie differences. For example, you can compare the result of compression at different settings.
Leave all scale factors at one if you want to check how visible the differences actually are.
