What's new in 24U SimpleDialog Plug-In 4.0.1
The version 4.0 brings live-updating dialogs, basic styled text support, conditional value lists, and more. The plug-in has been also completely rewritten to provide native support for FileMaker Pro 11, Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and Windows 7.
The following features and bugfixes have been introduced with the release of the version 4.0.1 of 24U SimpleDialog Plug-In:
- List field does not show garbage on Mac OS X
- List field correctly shows empty lines on Windows
- List field is no longer sorted on Windows
- Correct CR line endings are returned from multi line text on Mac OS X
- SDialog_SetCalculation properly handles field titles
- SDialog_Version function is no longer case sensitive
- List field automatically scrolls to selected line if it is not visible
- Parameter "lines" works correctly with the List field
- Any field type can be used as CurrentValue parameter in InputDialog
- Second input dialog opened fast after the first one does not cause the first one to remain on screen
- Opened progress windows no longer block FileMaker Pro from quitting
The following changes have been introduced with the release of the version 4.0 of 24U SimpleDialog Plug-In which break backward compatibility with versions 3.x:
- All indexing in the plug-in has been unified to be 1-based (starting from 1). This changed pop-up menu indexing by currentValue which has been 0-based in 3.x.
- Pop-up menu separators are no longer counted to indexing. For example SDialog_Get function will return the same index regardless how many separators you add or remove from the menu.
